Kate Carter, Violin

 

Kate is a versatile performer, from soloist and recitalist to chamber collaborator.

A California native, she considers Chicago the adopted hometown of her heart.

Kate has been heard performing on live radio, television, and in makeshift practice rooms such as a tanning booth (true story) and a closet.

When she is not searching for spaces to practice, she can be found writing for her blog www.fearlessfiddler.com, teaching students of all ages, drawing and painting, or just taking a nice long walk.
